Subject: Confused about Engineering

Question: Dear Sir,
I have just pased my Std. XI (Sc.). I am interested in doing
Aeronautical Engineering but I have been told that it is of little scope in
India. Could you please tell me about it's scope in a country like India?
After that I would like to know about Mechanical and Electronics
Engineering. Could you please tell me about the scope for Mechanical and
Electronics Engineers?

Answer: Dear Kunal,
You are in XII and are interested in Areonautical Engineering. So you
should try for it.
The scope is definitely a little less as compared to the other streams
of engineering. Electronics might be a better choice as compared to
Mechaninal.
There is a boom in the Infotech industry in India, and the best choice
would be Computer Engineering.
Please keep in mind your aptitude and personality too while choosing
your direction at this stage.
