Subject: Joining CA with B.Com After 10+2?

Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I have cleared my 12 this year. and i m thinking of pursuing c.a with b.com (P)
But many ppl say that under new system this is not allowded i.e one can do either college or c.a
Is this allowed? Can you help to know if i can do both together

Answer: As far as I know, this is not correct. You can register after doing 10+2. You can take your first test which is known as CPT (Common Proficiency Test) after 30 days of registration. After qualifying this, you can enrol for PCC (Professional Competence Course) and enrol as an article. After 15 months of article-ship and 3 months after (total of 18 months), you'll be eligible for appearing for PCE (Professional Competence Examination) and after 3.5 years of article ship for the Final Exam.
