Subject: MCA after B.Sc.(Chemistry) Hons.?
Date: 4-Sep-2007
Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm doing B.Sc. Chemistry(h) 3rd year at Hans Raj College in Delhi University. Math & Computer is intresting subject so i decided for doing MCA. Is my decision is right or wrong because I'm not a computer background? And which is the most reputed institute for MCA and what are the highest package in these institute?

Thank you.

Answer: MCA doesn't require any prior computer background. So don't worry about it. Check out the entrance test syllabus for DU's MCA, DCE/DIT and NIT's (erstwhile Regional Engineering College) MCA entrance and go for it.

At your age, you shouldn't worry about what is the highest package, but look at what is your passion and where you want to make your career and work hard in achieving it without worrying about money. If you are good, money would follow you. Choosing a career where money is not a way to go about it, as it lot depends upon the person and the company offering it.

Hope that answers your query.
