I currently joined for BCA course in Mysore. I'll be doing my MCA later, so I wanted to enquire whether I can do M.TECH(GATE exam) with a MCA-BCA combination.

Answer: MCA is eligible for appearing for GATE, which is the qualifying examination for M.Tech. After appearing for GATE and getting a valid score one has to apply for each individual University or Engineering College where M.Tech course is available. As per information available to us, MCAs are eligible for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. For any other stream, you'll have to check the individual institution's eligibility criteria for that department.
