Question: I am Tiya Sharma and pursuing MCA with 75% marks. I want to know whether there is any job prospects for me in merchant navy and of what kind.
Answer: Dear Tiya
It is good to see your enthusiasm to join the merchant navy but it is too late for that. The openings are ideally after +2 as the institutions impart their own training not only the technical but also physical training. They do have openings for technical people which again are officers trained by them and especially people from engineering background.
