Subject: I want to change my field from IT to Commerce

Question: Respected Sir/Madam, I am a B.Com Graduate and I worked as an IT help desk engineer for past 6 months. I am 25 years of age and would like to get into commerce field .I planning to take up M.COM through Correspondence. I would be very grateful to you if you kindly provide me the advise about the change and future prospects and employment opportunities after doing M.COM. And what further can be done to go higher in this field.

Answer: There are many universities which provide M.Com through correspondence but if you want to pursue a career in commerce then it would be better for you to opt for a regular course over a correspondence. There is a plethora of options available to you ranging from MBA Finance or Retail, Insurance, Banking, Financial Analyst, Equity Investment to name a few but it all depends on your preferences. With a boom in the economy there are innumerable opporunities lying ahead of you.
