| Question: sir i wana to know that can i get admission in M.TECh, i hav complete MCA from , sikkim manipal univercity, sir actuuly i hav no gradution degreee, i got admissioon in mca on the basis of threee year diploma in Electr.Eng., plz suggest me , thanks so much |

| Answer: After doing a Diploma in Electr. Engg you moved to MCA and now you want to pursue MTech(both are master's level). I believe you want to do M.Tech in Computer Engineering then the one of the option is BITS, Pilani through the distance learning programme division. They offer MS in Software systems for which you need to have minimum 1 year of work experience and a sound background in maths. You can write to the Dean, Distance Learning Programmes Division, Faculty Division-III, BITS, Pilani.
Admission to regular M.Tech happens through an entrance exam, known as GATE. Check the eligibility criteria in that. I believe MCA from a recognised universities are eligible for appearing in GATE. Once you have a qualified GATE score, you'll have to apply to individual Universities/Institutions which offer M.Tech in your field based on your score and their eligibility criteria for the stream/Specialization in which you want to do M.Tech.
