Subject: After 12th BCA or MBA?

Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a 19 year old boy from Jaipur. I did my 12th with Commerce+Informatic Practices. I scored 80% marks in aggregate. I am interested in going for career in IT and there after some other course like CA or MBA. I wish to ask you the following:
  1. Is it safe for me to do BCA instead of B.Com?
  2. Is it possible to go for CA or MBA even after passing BCA?
  3. Is it true that the IT industry is not that safe as it was earlier?(before recession)
  4. What are the job prospects for MCA cum CA or MCA cum MBA?
  5. What jobs can I get immediately after doing BCA?
  6. What is the average stipend that one should expect after doing MCA from a reputed institute like Birla Institute Of Technology, Mesra?

Answer:
  1. If you want to do CA, go for B.Com.
  2. MBA requires graduation and BCA is graduation.
  3. IT industry is in to its difficulties. And shall remain in such condition for 2 - 3 years.
  4. MCA is enough to get you IT jobs. MCA + MBA in fact reduces your IT jobs prospects.
