Subject: Career in IT after Career in Medical Transcription?
Date: 22-May-2003
Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Dipak. I completed my +2 Sc in 1996. Due to some personal problems I had to quit graduation and entered into Medical Transcription and currently doing good in it. But I do not think that I can continue to take it as a career. So I have decided to quit it. But I know my qualification is not enough to make me fit into other profession currently. So I have decided to stay in this business for another 5 years and by that time acquire all the necessary qualification to make myself fit in other IT field. Can you help me plan my coming 5 years in terms of career in IT, so as I can easily change my job. It will really be helpful to me. Thank you.
Answer: Try and save money for bad days while sun shines. You should complete your studies. Medical transcription is good option but one does not know for how long. But you have life long living.

Your counsel.
