I am in my 3rd tear of the course in engineering, i would like to suggest me the best carrers in this field, keeping an eye on the future benefits, sholud i go in software or i must go for embedded plzz suggest me the best regarding the future.

| Answer: With a boom in the electronics and the telecommunications sector there are a number of opportunities lying ahead of you. Embedded software is a specialized field, where you would be working on the software which goes directly on the chip and it requires a very good understanding of the low level Operating system concepts. There are ample opportunities in the Embedded devices companies, where a good mix of electronics and system-software is a big plus.
I suggest you evaluate your interest, whether you are interested in application softwares or system software and decide based on that. Both Embedded software and application software has good demand for Engineers, though system software with specialization in Embedded would be definitely give you an edge. |
