Question: Hi

My name is Siraj Ali I'm graduate in Botany and Chemistry. I don't have any diploma or experience in technical background. But I want to take admission in Software testing course and one of my friends told me to do an MBA also in IT with this course so plz could you tell me that would it be a better or right decision or not. I'm interested in software testing....

Siraj Ali

Answer: Hello Siraj,

MBA in IT basically deals with the use of Information Technology and follows an Interdisciplinary approach to enable various business functions. The job of System Manager would include collection, processing and dissemination of information through the operation and management of various IT tools.

It would be a wise decision to take up such a course if you want to get into the IT sector and you also have the leverage of being a management professional as well.

Whereas, Software Testing is one of the hottest career options and a good software tester is always in demand with any software company. If you have knack for finding problems and want to take up a technical support role in a software company, Software Testing is a good career option for you.

With both MBA in IT and Software testing course, you can look for a Management position in a software testing or QA department of any company.

Hope with this information you would be able to take a decision which is a right career choice for you.

All the best!
