Question: I am a graduate from Madras University (B.A) English lit, Having close to 10 years of direct selling experience in Chennai market. I have sales experience in Telecom, Logistics and for a large part of my selling experience was in the banking industries, working as a DSA for India largest private bank. Despite all the experience getting into the on rolls was a distant dream. So after ten years in sales i have managed to land a business development with a company called CE, among services we offer are SEO,PPC,SEM,BPO,RPO.And IT solutions such as XML Reporting, Application managed services ,Interface building solution, we also do IT recruiting. I am into the later two of IT Solutions & IT recuriting for U.S markets. I am also pursuing PGDPM&IR From Annamalai University. What i want to know is what can be my scope for the future?

Answer: Dear Mr.Williams,
It seems you have already done a lot in your field of sales and marketing and have a repertoire of experience in it. After completing your PGDPM&IR, you would be more equipped to deal with the personnel management and industrial relations in an organisation. This qualification gives you opportunity to get into the administrative and HR department and focus on appraisals,training, labour laws etc.
It is a definite shift from your present area of work as it is more inclined towards HR.
