4. IT career guidance
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have done graduation(pass course) + DOEACC A level(1997). Even after faring
well in my institute and DOE exams it took me long to find a job. Finally
got got trained in AS/400,(1998). Inspite of that I could not find a decent
job with that training. Finally I took up a job of computer Faculty job.
Ever since 1998, I have taught at reputed IT training companies at Calcutta.
These are very big names in IT training industry. However there has been
no real growth for me. Although in these years, I have learnt a many softwares/languages,
setup network at offices, given technical support to people and organizations,
conducted corporate training etc etc. I only got so called promotions and
some monetary hike. After the training industry went into slump, I was out
of work for 6 months. Every single company I apply, pays no heed to my experience,
and do not even receive an interview call. Currently I have somehow managed
to get a job as "software engineer" in a startup co. Even here I have to
start as a fresher once again. Even my performance in this company has
gone down and I find that my future is very bleak here too. Other employees
are all B.E., or B.Tech's from reputed engineering colleges(IIT's & REC's).
I feel very very frustrated and direction less in life. Inspite of putting
very very hard work all these years I feel I am in a dead end. I am 29 now.
Please offer me a career guidance as what to do now. I still feel I have
a year or so to improve myself in the present job scenario, before it is too
late. Hope you would consider my case a bit sympathetically and offer me
a excellent advice. Thank you.

5. Prospects of CA, CS
and LLB?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am pursuing my LLB course from the Government Law college Mumbai. I am
in my second year and am performing quite well. I have finished my B.Com (hons)
and am also pursuing the Company Secretary's course. I am now considering
starting the CA course as well. Kindly suggest the prospects of CA, CS and
LLB along with the expected starting pay. I have secured the 1st rank in
the 3rd semester LLB exams at the mumbai university and have secured a CGPA
of 4.34/5 in my B.Com (hons) programme. Considering these factors suggest
whether my decision is correct. I am prima facie looking at a corporate job
(legai in nature) but feel the CA degree will enhance my skills as well as
pay please suggest. Thank you.

7. Is it wise to do MBA
degree and a CFA degree after B.Com?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm a student from Kolkata who has just appeared for the Part 2 exams in
2003 in B.Com Honors. I was thinking of appearing for the CAT exams this year,
But the problem lies in the fact that I have got no specialisation degree
like CA, CS etc. In that case I'm planning to do a post graduate degree from
the Calcutta University like MBA and simultaneously take up a correspondence
course like the CFA course offered by the ICFAI school. In that case I will
be having a post graduate degree from a premier institute and also a specialisation
degree like the CFA. I want to pursue a career in finance. Do you think it
will be the right decision ?? Doing an MBA and a CFA programme simultaneously
does not seem to be a feasible option? Does a MBA degree and a CFA degree
improve my career prospects?? Thank you.

9. Should I mention Employment
gap after Graduation?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an Electrical Engineer having 10 years experience in large organisation.
Currently, I am in search of job in SAP field. My problem is, there is a
gap for 4 years after my graduation & I was trying for central govt jobs
