| 1. MBA aptitude
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have read and heard many people say that one must take up a career that
fits one's aptitude. Can you please mention a list of traits one must have
(and/or develop) in order to become a good manager. An MBA is just a course.
a knowledge addition. Management is skill. I mean, can a guy who even finds
it difficult to manage his day to day activities, train himself to be a successful
manager? Anyway, management is a day to day necessity for success in whatever
vocation one may be in. So could you please provide some url/ book name where
practical management is covered. ("7 habits" according to me is a waste of
time). Thank you.

in the electronics industry
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an electronics engineer with 8 years experience in the electronics
industry in a reputed PSU and aged 34 years. If I manage to get into any
IIM what are my placement prospects. Please advise me on lateral placement
(the likely position in accordance with experience) and salary I can expect.

I pursue to be able to do investment analysis (CFA, MBA, or ..)?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I want to know which course should I pursue so that I would be able to do
investment analysis and also make my own decisions. I heard that CFA is such
a course but it is very tough and very few people can complete it. Is there
any other alternative to this course? Thank you.

courses with B.Com
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a resident of New Delhi & have taken my 2nd year B.Com (hons) exams
from Delhi University & would also start preparing for C.A. P.E. 2 course
after a couple of months. In the view of this I've got a lot of leisure time.
Are there any very short term courses, which may extend upto a maximum 4
months, on any subject in the commerce stream, which can be pursued by me?

| 9. M.B.A Correspondence

Dear Sir/Madam,
I want to go for an MBA course in the near future. I have a job at present.
I wanted to ask whether MBA done by correspondence holds high value or not
because leaving a good job and going for an MBA course is not very wise especially
in the current scenario due to the lack of good jobs after MBA. What do you
advise? Should I sooner or later leave my job and go for MBA or should I
go in for a correspondence course from a good B-school. Thank you.
