Question: I am a Mechanical Engineer working in Projects(CAD and Industrial Engineering).
I want to go in for correspondance course in Management for better oppurtunities.
Can i be at par with regular MBA graduates or that regular MBA graduates are most preferred choice of emlpoyers.
Answer: Today's business environment is characterized by powerful changes in IT sector, emergence of new business models and a flurry of new products and services in almost every industry. To excel and grow in this highly competitive scenario, managers need to acquire specialized knowledge, skills and attitude with keen perception and flexibility. To attain this kind of perfection one should go for a regular MBA as the distance course cannot substitute for a classroom teaching and experience. Management is not just about acquiring a degree but learning the other finer details which can be experienced like presentations, group discussions, case studies etc. in a classroom setup. Regular MBA is definitely far better than a correspondence course.
