Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am 21 years old. I completed my M.B.A - 1st year this April from a second rung
business school. I did my project in Mcdowell & Company ltd in Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. This is where I reside. Therefore I do stand a chance of losing some good oppurtunities. Therefore I want to take up a course along with my second year which will increase
my value in the job market. My specialisation would be in marketing. So therefore
I am planning to take up a course in International Marketing from Pondicherry University through correspondence or a course from Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K.
My aim basically is after gaining 2-3 years of work experience I want to try for opportunities abroad. My area of interests are software / service / hardware / fmcg Marketing.
What I want to know are the options viable or you have any other alternatives which will help me in my ambition of going abroad. Which is the best one of the alternatives I have given which will make it easier to reach my goal?
Answer: Correspondence courses do not have much demand in Indian markets. So I would suggest you to go in for second option though it is a little more expensive.
After doing the course, get 2 to 3 years of job experience and then appear for TOEFL and GMAT exams for a globally recognized management degree from a foreign university.
