Date: 3-Mar-2008
Question: Respected sir,

This is malleswararao I did my B.Pharma in AU. My question is some govt exams (i.e ssc, appsc, upsc) ask min qualification is any Be/B.tech. Iam eligible/not? (because Be=B.tech=B.arch=B.pharm) please provide proper information.

THANKS®ARDS
MALLESH.

Answer: Dear Mr.Rao
You are very much eligible because B.Pharma is an undergraduate programme and all the exams conducted by the government run bodies require one to possess minimum graduation degree to be eligible to appear.BE/BTech are all undergraduate courses and not a post graduate course. We do hear so many BTechs and medicos appearing for the UPSC exams and doing well! So go ahead with your plans, if any.

All the best!
