Answer: You will have to have patience and perseverance and do planning.

First of all you have to work on your resume. Please sit back and count the number of certificates you must have got in Academics. And extra curricular activities.

Note the ranks in class that you could obtain.

Do not bloat your resume, but at least mention all things that you have achieved till date. You must have given seminars, written some articles, some organizing things in school and college. Mention all those.

Frankly, we Indians feel that we should down play and not boast and be modest. We are told by our parents to be such. Fine, but be true to yourself and write what you have achieved at least. If not more.

Secondly, frame your resume in good font and structure. Be crisp in your language.

A pleasant resume attracts attention amongst many.

Apply to companies like Bharti, Reliance, Tata etc. I am sure you will get calls. But on the side, keep reading. Improve your knowledge about these companies, about other countries developments. Read magazines for 3GL literature and so on. For this knowledge will get reflected in your resume and also when you face interviews you are the better of the lot.

Your counsel.
