The Certificate Course in Business Administration is held for officers of the Indian armed forces — Army, Air Force and Navy.

The six-month full-time residential programme has been designed by the institute at the instance of the Directorate-General of Resettlement, Ministry of Defence.
The programme is divided into three terms. In the first two terms, the participants will be offered about 17 core courses in economics, marketing, finance, accounting, organisational behaviour, costing etc. All these courses are compulsory.
In the last term, participants will be offered elective courses. In addition to classroom teaching, there would be industrial visits and guest lectures.
To facilitate the welfare of retired defence personnel, the Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), a body under the Ministry of Defence, recently announced the launch of its revamped official website www.dgrindia.com.
The new portal is available for ex-defence personnel for registering their resumes and searching jobs in the corporate world. The site would make available information on employment, welfare schemes and self-employment policies even in remote areas.
