Answer: In some universities there is a provision to complete the graduation in the maximum time period of 5 to 7 years. So if you are still within this time frame, you can contact your university and continue with your education there.
Otherwise there are many open universities from where you can get your graduation degree. But you can not do BA in one sitting from a reputed recognised university as it takes three years to complete BA.
According to the recommendations of the University Grants Commission (UGC), all one-sitting Bachelor’s degree programmes have been discontinued. Hence, such courses (if at all they are still being offered by any advertiser), and the degrees they claim to confer stand invalid.
Following are the universities where you can get yourself enrolled to do your graduation through correspondence:
- Indira Gandhi National Open University
- Osmania University
- Annamalai University
- Symbiosis MBA through Correspondance
- Sikkim Manipal Distance Learning programmes
- Mumbai University - IT courses through Distance Education.
- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (1982)
- Kota Open University (1987)
- Nalanda Open University (1987)
- Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University
- Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University (1991)
