Subject: M.Tech after second class B.Tech
Date: 11-Oct-2002
Question: I have passed B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2000 with a second class degree. I reside in Hyderabad. I have worked in various organizations since then. Now I would like to improve my career and would like to do M.Tech. Am I eligible for doing Part time or full time M.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad or Osmania University?
Answer: While your marks may meet the minimum requirements, I am sure the competition for M.Tech is high for these that make the cut off point high. Yet, put in your application and hope for the best. I would suggest that you should keep a wider choice of Colleges/ University for better chances. You may like to shift your job and place of residence temporarily for those years when you are studying.
