Date: 5-Oct-2002
Question: I am 43 years old. I was a manager in Food & Beverages for 12 years. A Warehouse Supervisor 4 years and Planning Officer 1 year. I have a diploma in Entrepreneur ship recently. Also, I am a CEO in a business of my own. My core business is web development. I also have a cybercafe. How can I become a Management Consultant? What kind of courses should I take? Please plan me a career path that will lead me to become a Management consultant. Thank you.
Answer: You can be a consultant in your core skills. And you do not need any degrees. To impress your clients you may like to add a few diplomas, I am sure you must be already having all that since you are in to web development. All you need is business. Take a marketing person on contract and give him some targets. Your business will grow.
