Subject: Is it advisable M.Tech after M.C.A.?
Date: 1-Jan-2003
Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am doing B.C.A. from I.P.U., I want to do M.C.A. after my B.C.A.. So please tel me the opening to MCA. Can I go for M.Tech after my M.C.A., is it advisable to do so? Thank you.
Answer:

In my opinion you should stop after M.C.A. M.C.A. is after 3 years of Graduation and it takes 3 years. It is both necessary and sufficient condition for you to become a skilled computer programmer. You would already have put in 6 years after 12th, which is sufficient to get you in to a good job. If you want to study, please do spend time and resources on honing your skills by taking up specialized training in special technical skills rather than just gathering academic degrees that are beyond the necessary and sufficient conditions.
