Question: I'm Farhath and have just completed my master's degree in computer
science(M.Sc computers). I'm in search of jobs, my ambition is to become a
successful software professional.
I'm trying for a job from past two months and till now I didn't get any
success, now I'm afraid of getting a job where ever I go they will ask for
experience or some recommendations will be there.
So please suggest me ,how should I search for a job in software field and what type of jobs I can apply. |

Answer: First of all you need to get back your confidence. Send me your detailed
resume, project details, skill set etc at rakesh1@mantraonline.com
Secondly, do not waste your time. Looking for jobs is a concentrated effort
of web search. Take not more than one to two hours twice a week.
What do you do other time:
Read about Technologies that go in to today's softwares. Master a skill.
Meet some people in the field of your interest and ask for some project that
you could do from your own house and on your own machine. If you do not have
one at your home, visit a cyber cafe and fix up a long term with them at a
time when there is low rush.
You will find that your resume will start adding the required weight. Of
experience. Unfortunately, experience is not up for sale. So you have to
make an effort. If you have any follow up queries, please feel free and ask. |
