Question: I am a student of class 11 studying in Muscat(Oman). I had opted for Commerce group. I had even got the wanted subject. I have taken maths along with Commerce. I find mathematics very difficult. I can't cope up with it. I am planning to take up M.B.A. along with Computers in future. My optional subject along with maths is Physical Education. Can I drop out maths and take up Physical Education. Will taking up of Physical Education affect me in taking up M.B.A. along with Computers in future? |

Answer: Physical Education marks do not get added when you go for admissions. So do not go that way. This will not help you in your career plan. Both M.B.A. and Computers need maths to be successful.
Maths is difficult, but you can cope up provided you work for it every day.
You may have to take up coaching. But most coaching centers do problem solving only. You need to concentrate on fundamentals.
There is a secret:
The more you practice, the easier it becomes. The problem is that a weak person gets stuck too many times at too many places. Therefore, you may plan to limit yourself to areas that will help you answer 85% to 90% of the paper. If you score well here you still may end up getting good marks. |
