Question: Hi. I'm 21 yrs old and am about to complete my graduation in English...But I wish to pursue psychology as a career...Is it recommended to do B.A. Psychology before going for a masters degree or should I straight away apply for M.A. if i want to work as a research psychologist?
Answer: For doing M.A Psychology you need to have a graduation degree in Psychology. So you cannot straight away take admission into it. But there are some open universities like IGNOU, Annamalai Open University, Nagaland Open University, which offer you a diploma or degree courses in Psychology without its previous background. So if you really want to pursue this subject you can definitely go for such courses. But without a background in Psychology you wont be able to work as a research psychologist.

Hope that helps...
