I work for one of the most reputed software companies of India as the Level 2 Production Support Specialist for Banking . I see that there is no development kinda job am doing here rather i should say am getting a wide perspective of how this domain works and doing things just like the way a manager does to make sure things work fine with all the teams I work with. I have done my B.E in Computers and also would like to pursue further studies. How would you suggest I move in the career path taking into consideration that am one of the best in the current team . Answer: Both teamwork and leadership abilities makes you a sought after person for any organisation. Considering that you are the best in your team and everything else, there are two options available - Are you looking for a job switch or you would like to go for some higher education. You have got the experience but looking for future growth, you should opt to enhance yourself with some managerial skills. Try pursuing an MBA from a well reputed institution like IIM's or ISB, Hyderabad or FMS, Delhi. They have programmes tailored for the executives although crunching through them would be a little hard and you would need to prepare for the CAT.
