Question: I am B.Com Graduate pursuing P.G. course in Psychotherapy and Career counseling from I.P.M.S. Chennai affiliated to W.H.O. I am working with an IT industry since last 4 years. I started my career as a executive - counselor - co-ordinator is my career journey. Today I'm working as Centre Manager with a reputed IT company.

But my heart lies in career counseling. Whenever I am interacting with students, colleagues and other people I do enjoy to guide them to provide them information in a professional manner.

I want to start my own counseling centre. For that purpose what sort of academic qualification I should go for to equip myself for the desired career? What should be my nature of job to give me required experience, exposure and confidence?

I want to do M.B.A. in H.R., but I have got many constrains like time and money. So can I get the information as regards to this problem also? Please guide me.
Answer: Heart and money are distant. In my knowledge and experience goes there is no monetary return in counseling. So do not think of chucking your job and starting on your own in this field. Do an evening course in H.R. from University. It is only the Private ones who charge money by a ton.
