Question: hello sir/ mam

I had completed my BAMS feb 2007, after that there is course called diploma in general medicine of 2 yr duration of which one year is completed..i opted this course..as i had passion for clinical practice...but this course is not recognized...though i have knowledge..i can't practice like consultant.i wanted to know what are the scope if i wll do part time hospital administration from k c college mumbai...i don't want to take chance again....please help & do reply.

Answer: Hi, Ya of course you will be in good position if you pursue a part time course in hospital administration, as you are a BAMS graduate. In todays scenario many hospitals have been giving post of Medical Officer to a BAMS graduate. So, you could get better opportunity if you take a diploma course in hospital administration. As you said you have passion for clinical field, you can work as a clinician without taking a diploma course in hospital administration. Always try to take a recognised course, otherwise it would be a wastage of money as well as time. Before taking any decision always consider your interest. Decision is yours, for further query be in touch.

Hope that helps,
