Subject: Part Time or Full Time MBA
Date: 28-Dec-2007
Question: Hi,

I m a B.Sc. Grad(10+2+2) then I did Advance Diploma in Networking from NIIT, and A level from DOEACC. After that I had worked as an Sales Executive for an MNC for 5 years. Later I did my SAP Sales and Distribution Certification Course from Siemens, Kolkata, and I am presently working for an Software firm as an SAP Consultant. I wanted to know whether I should enhance my careers skills by doing an MBA. And whether I should do a Part Time or Full time MBA. I am 29 years old. Pls suggest?

Answer: SAP professionals are as such in great demand and you are surely doing a good job. If you think you need to enhance your career by doing MBA then you can go for it. Full time is anyways better than a part time but you need to prioritize your goals. A part time would also be good if you are doing from a good institute which has some reputation. You could also look for the executive tailored programmes that good management institutes offer for working professionals provided you are eligible as per their criteria.

All the best!
