Subject: Seeking Advice - Couldn't complete Engineering.
Date: 9-Oct-2007
Question: I was doing my engineering, but it didn't work out, by the time i wanted to get out, it was too late. I have already spent 7yrs giving my exams and was left with two papers that i didn't clear. I am looking for some part time job (apart from call centres) and to pursue my graduation through correspondence. Pls advise avenues that i can work towards.

Hope to get some direction

Answer: I think the BPO would definitely be a better option if you look at it in the other way. First, you would be earning a good amount and be able to do your graduation through correspondence and subsequently you can also go for your MBA, as many of the good BPO's have tie-ups with management institutes. Then you can branch out to any field of your choice. Other options would be any publishing house or may be a computer firm(if you have some knowledge about them) who require part time workers. Considering your situation, try to get the most out of what you have in your hand.

All the best!
