Subject: Which subjects should I choose?
Date: 8-Oct-2007
Question: Repected Sir, I'm a student of class 11th I want to be very frank i am not a bright student and have not done that good in my boards i want to choose my line i want to take PCM but i am not having a proper base therfore i am changing my subject ......suggest me what subjects should i take for a beter future. I want to become a commercial pilot some people say to take commerce computer and have a good percentage and afterwards give an open exam of maths and physics would it be beneficial.
Answer: To become a Commercial Pilot one nedds to sit for their qualifying exams SPL(Student Pilot License) PPL(Private Pilot License)and CPL(Commercial Pilot License). To be eligible to sit for the exams you need PCM in your 10+2. Also apart from the academics your physical standards and medical fitness is of prime importance. It would both be a waste of time and energy to prepare for the open exam and then not be able to qualify. Instead, think over, decide on your subjects with care.

Hope that helps.
