Question: Hi I am Pushkar Sharma,

I am doing Mechanical Engg. (third year) from KUK affilated college. what additional course should I pursue along with my graduation so that I could get the job after completition of my graduate easily.

Should I go for CADD/CAM. Tell me about the reputed institution in Chandigarh and Delhi regarding this course.

Answer: Computer Aided Design supports the Design Engineering activity that includes creation of 2D/3D Geometric models doing engineering analysis, evaluating the design by simulation and Produce Rapid Drafting for Manufacturing with the help of computers.CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) is defined as the effective use of computer technology in manufacturing planning and control. Often there is confusion between the term manufacturing and production. Providing the component that is to be produced in large quantity is called manufacturing technology.

DOEACC Centres offer unique intensive training programmes for graduate engineers and Diploma Engineers to enhance their engineering design and problem solving skills along with state-of-the-art technology in the respective fields and thereby becoming more adaptable to the professional requirements of industries and entrepreneur. The DOEACC centres are recognised by the Govt.of India. Indo-German Tool Room and Central Tool Room, Ludhiana also offer the following courses. It would be the best if you could get into NID which is a premier institution for design related courses.

Hope that helps.
