Subject: question of future - BE (Second Class)

Question: Sir, I lost two yrs in puc & two yrs in BE(E&E)and completed BE in second class. Now iam woried about job. Everywhere requirement is first class. what i should do? Can i get job? In which field i can find opportunities which suits my profile because in software & hardware jobs they ask first class. Also is it possible for me to complete any course & find job based on that. please advice me which course i have to do? Lot of pressure from my parents to find job because of my age. please help me sir.
Answer: I can understand your anxiety. But those who have the desire and are ready to work hard, can always find good jobs and have a good life.

Graduates in Electronics Engineering have opportunities in Government and private companies for installation, operation and maintenance of electronics equipments and systems. Defence, space and other large research organisations employ electronics engineers in design and development of complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication.

Industries involved in design and fabrication of devices, integrated circuits, embedded systems, electronic equipments etc have also provide large scale placements for engineers with this specialization. Installation and maintenance of electronic equipments used for health care in hospitals, equipments & systems for instrumentation and control in process industries automation systems of assembly line in production industries, etc are also handled by electronics engineers.

Knowledge of computer hardware, networking equipments and communication systems can enable you to annexe an edge in the IT job market. The skills and understanding developed in the course will enable you to be preferred, as software professionals by IT companies. If you desire to go in field of research and education, you may go in for Masters in electronics else go for MBA in IT.

Also try to develop your soft skills like English conversation and groom your self so that you may be able to go through the interviews well.
