Subject: How to face problem during Visa interview because of low percentage in B.Tech?
Date: 14-Apr-2003
Question: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Ashish and I've just finished my B.Tech in Computer Science. My problem is I don't have good academics in my bachelors degree( 55% in B.Tech), but I'm good in programming languages like C, C++, Java, VB and VB.Net. I have applied for my MS in Computer Science and also got I-20's from few universities in US. But I know I'll have a problem during my Visa interview because of my low percentage. I want to keep my options open. If not MS I want to work here in India. Could you tell me what kind of jobs can I get and every job advertisement asks for first class degree. Could you please sort out my problem. Thank you.
Answer: Only recourse for you is to get admitted in M.Tech. When it comes to your visa interview try and tackle appropriately. You must have good marks in school level and in some subjects. Leverage them for help.
