Question: I am studying in Bsc.(H)Microbiology. Please tell me what can I do after it.
Answer: After completing your graduation you can go for further studies if you have the interest and the aptitude for it.With a postgraduation/doctoral qualification in microbiology, you can work in pharmaceutical companies, chemical industry, wine manufacturing and food industries as well as in research laboratories run by the government and corporate sector. Prospects of a career in this field are very bright.

Combining MBA with your degree in industrial microbiology will certainly be an asset as you can then pitch for a managerial-level job in any of the relevant industries.

Or you can try for a good job in the industry. Microbiologist can get jobs in popular industries include biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacture, food, drinks and brewing and the water industry.
