Subject: Mid life career shift

Question: I am a Chartered Accountant (age 35) with 12 years experience. I am contemplating a shift into an HRD role. Questions:
a.What are the options available to me.
b.What professional qualifications do I need to acquire.
c.How much time and money will retraining involve.
d.Can I pursue the course side-by-side with current job.
Answer: CA's in my opinion will not make good HR persons from the people's point of view, while you may succeed very much from Company's point of view but masses may never be with you.

Decide based on what you want.

An MBA in HRM may help you or a PGDPM&IR may help you.
