Subject: How can I built my career in Vartenery Science?
Date: 28-Nov-2002
Question: I have completed B.Sc with special subject Chemistry but since my 12th I wanted to join Varternery science but because of low percentage merit I didn't get this education. Now I can't clear my goal of life I am going to complete GNIIT module from NIIT. But there is no good future after using 65,000 rupees. Now really I want to join government job but there is on place excluding UPSC(I am not capable). Because I am now 23 years old. Now a days I am working as representative management chemist at Ankleshwera. So kindly give me answer that, in which way I should go. Thank you.
Answer: You may not like what I am going to say, but you will have to be bold enough to emerge out of it:

What you dreamt is your past. You have graduated and leave the vet science for now. If you love animals, keep it on. Have pets in your house. Get one today.

Govt jobs are through UPSC. There in competition, one needs to excel in subject knowledge. But one needs to communicate thoughts well and clearly. By going through the mail, and taking that mail as a sample, I feel you need complete brushing up of English language. Please take tuitions and all other help to improve the language skills. In your preparation for UPSC this is the major hurdle. Work on your communication skills and every thing will start falling in line.

If you have the will, you will grow very well in your own company. Govt jobs are not the best career options. Have patience and work hard. Results will follow.
